Their core aim is fast-paced warfare with skills that link together to offer significant burst damage while retaining protective cooldowns.

Healer FFXIV jobs

Healers are the soul of a party responsible for reviving health, healing illnesses and offering buffs to help the team perform better. In Final Fantasy XIV, there are four separate healing FFXIV jobs each of which has its own set of tools and gameplay styles. [2]

  1. White Mage: The ultimate healers, White Mages, hold strong healing powers. Their powers such as Cure and Medica offer substantial restoration of health for gamers and teams. White Mages specialize in keeping their group alive during the most difficult encounters with abilities such as Benediction that can completely cure a team member instantly.
  2. Scholar: Scholars provide a potential practical method of healing by employing shields and a fairy companion to help with healing. Scholars are adept at preventing damage by using shields like Adloquium and Succor to ward off attacks before they occur. By automatic healing and awarding buffs, the fairy companion increases flexibility and allows Scholars to focus solely on healing.
  3. Astrologian: Astrologers use astrological cards to combine healing and buffs to improve the skills of their teammates. Their two positions are interchangeable: Nocturnal (offers protection) and Diurnal (regenerative healing gradually). Astrologers are adaptable healers who can adjust to diverse team demands while increasing efficacy of the entire team.
  4. Sage: Sages are players that were included in the Endwalker expansion. They use modern technology aimed at balancing damage and healing. They encourage strong healing tactics by using floating nouliths (devices) that can both strike and heal at the same time. Sages are particularly effective at preserving team health while offering skills such as Kardia which allows them to passively heal teammates.
